OpirSys ("we", "us", "our") operates the opirsys.com website and the OpirSys Android application (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect your username, email address, and password. Your password is stored using one-way encryption (hashing) — we never store or have access to your plain-text password.

Profile Questions

During sign-up you may be asked optional or required profile questions (for example, demographic or interest questions). Your answers help us match you with relevant surveys.

Survey Responses

We collect the answers you submit to surveys. To check response quality, your answers may be automatically reviewed using Google's Gemini AI. This automated review only assesses answer quality (for example, detecting blank, nonsensical, or low-effort responses) — it does not use your answers for any other purpose.

Points, Reputation & Transaction History

We keep a record of the points you earn, your Reputation Tier, and your transaction history (surveys completed, points earned or spent, invoices, and reward redemptions).

Payout & Payment Details

When you request a payout, we collect the payment details needed to send it — for example your UPI ID, bank account details, or PayPal email, depending on the method you choose. We use this information solely to process your payout and do not sell or share it with advertisers.

Device & Push Notification Data

If you use our Android app, we collect a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device token so we can send you push notifications about new surveys and account activity. We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, or other device data beyond what's needed for notifications.

Automatically Collected Data

Like most online services, our servers automatically log technical information such as IP address, browser/device type, and access times, used for security, rate-limiting abuse, and troubleshooting.

Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF). We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account
• To send you surveys matching your profile and to deliver survey invitations by email
• To automatically validate the quality of your survey answers
• To calculate and track points, Reputation Tier, and reward eligibility
• To process payout requests and reward redemptions
• To send transactional emails (verification, password reset, survey delivery) and optional push notifications
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our terms
• To respond to support requests sent to our contact emails

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following categories of service providers, solely to operate the Service:

• Google Firebase — for push notification delivery to the Android app
• Google Gemini AI — for automated survey response quality checks
• Our email service provider — for sending verification, survey, and transactional emails
• Payment processors / banks — to the extent necessary to complete a payout you requested (UPI, bank transfer, or PayPal)

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of OpirSys, our users, or others.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and activity data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, tax, and fraud-prevention obligations related to reward payouts. You can request deletion of your account at any time (see Section 6).

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including password hashing, encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Choices & Rights

• Access & correction: You can view and update your username and profile information from within the app or website.
• Push notifications: You can disable push notifications at any time in your device settings.
• Account deletion: To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, email us at info@opirsys.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any records we are legally required to retain (for example, completed payout records).

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
